Jess Van Winkle is a New York based bold stylist and visionary designer specializing in editorial, theatre, drag, and performance wear. She walks the line between fashion and costume, seamlessly blending contemporary style, fashion history and the humor of camp. Fiercely passionate about size inclusivity, Jess designs for every body.
She studied Costume Design and Technology and Public Relations at Indiana University with continued education with HØVET Fashion Studio. She spent her early career as an entertainment publicist for theatre clients in Chicago including Steppenwolf Theatre Company. She has worked with Teen Vogue, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Today Show and more. Working so closely with major publications has given her a clear understanding of the editorial landscape and informs her current work as a stylist.
